Applications are invited for LIC Recruitment 2019-Apprentice Development Officers (922 Posts). Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) invites online applications from eligible candidates who must be Indian Citizens for selection and appointment as Apprentice Development Officers in the various Offices of LIC of India. Approximately 922 posts of Apprentice Development Officers are proposed to be filled in by the Offices under the jurisdiction of Zonal Office, Eastern Zone, Kolkata.

The number of Apprentice Development Officers recruited from among the Employee Category shall not exceed 15%, from Agents Category shall not exceed 25% and from Others Category(Open Market) shall not exceed 60% of the total number of vacancies for recruitment of Apprentice Development Officers.
The selection and appointment will be subject to the reservation of SCIST/OBC/EWS as per rules.
The total number of vacancies including vacancies for the reserved category may increase or decrease, depending upon the actual vacancies at the time of final selection and availability of successful candidates after the interview. Selection will be on the basis of on-line test and interview.

Job Profile- It is primarily a marketing job involving movement in the allotted area.

Salary-Stipend Rs. 34503/- per month during the apprentice period. On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer, basic pay  21865/- per month (except for Employee category candidates) in the scale 21865- 1340(2)- 24545- 1580(2)- 27705- 1610(17)- 55075 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments will be approximately 37345/-in ‘A’ Class City.
