Central Muga Eri Research & Training Institute is inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement of two Junior Research Fellows (JRF) under the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India funded projects.

Name of project : Inter and Intra specific hybridization for improvement of Eri silkworm, Samia ricini Donovan

Duration: 4 years

Essential  qualifications :  First Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Agriculture.

Desirable educational qualifications : Specialization/ working experience on breeding and genetics.

Name of project : Impact of elevated CO2 and temperature on muga silkworm and its primary host plants

Duration : 3 years

Essential  qualifications :  First Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Agriculture.

Desirable educational qualifications : Specialization/ working experience on Environment & / Plant Physiology

Stipend/Fellowship : Rs 20000 per month +admissible HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates; Rs 15000 per month +admissible HRA for non- NET/GATE qualified candidates

Age Limit : 28 years as on 15.06.2020
