Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 55 vacant posts.


1. Name of post :  Assistant Director(Shipping) Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers


No. of posts : 1


Pay Scale : Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC


Qualification : Degree of a recognized University/Institute.


Experience : Three years experience of Shipping or chartering of ships or port operations.



2. Name of post : Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Dermatology,Venereology & Leprosy) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare


No. of posts : 6


Pay Scale : Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA


Qualification :


(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).


(ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology & Venereology); or Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology,Venereology & Leprosy); or Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology); or Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology including Venereology); or Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology including Venereology or Leprosy); or Diplomate National Board (Dermatology & Venereology); or Diplomate National Board (Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy); or Diplomate National Board (Dermatology); or Diplomate National Board (Dermatology including Venereology); or Diplomate National Board (Dermatology including Venereology or Leprosy); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with (Diploma in Venereology and Dermatology; or Diploma in Dermatology); or Diplomate National Board (Medicine) with (Diploma in Venereology and Dermatology; or Diploma in Dermatology)


Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree



3. Name of post : Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Medical Gastroenterology) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare


No. of posts : 7


Pay Scale : Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA


Qualification :


(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super Speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.


4. Name of post : Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Ophthalmology) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare

Pay Scale : Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA


Qualification :


(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.



5. Name of post : Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare


No. of posts : 19

Qualification :

7. Name of post : Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor(Paediatric Surgery) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare

Qualification :


(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). 8. Name of post : Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare


No. of posts : 6


Pay Scale : Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA


Qualification :


(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.



9. Name of post : Assistant Director(Ballistics), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of NCT of Delhi


No. of posts : 1


Pay Scale : Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA


Qualification : Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.


Experience : Five years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field.
