PNRD Assam Recruitment 2021 : Apply 10 Driver Posts

The Commissionerate of Panchayat & Rural Development (PNRD) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for ten vacant posts of Drivers in the office of the Zilla Parishads of Biswanath, Charaideo, Hojai, Majuli and South Salmara.

PNRD Vacancy Details:

Name of post : Driver

No. of posts : 10 [ UR : 4, SC : 1, ST(P) : 1, OBC /MOBC : 3, EWS : 1]

Scale of Pay : Pay Band-2 Rs. 14000/- – 60500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5200/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules

Essential Qualification :

i) Minimum educational qualification is HSLC Examination passed or equivalent from a recognized Board / Council of Government of Assam

ii) A candidate must have a valid professional Driving License preferably LMV category

Age : Must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC /MOBC and 5 years for SC / ST candidates.

Selection Procedure :

Phase-I : Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in the Written Test on Driving Knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals to be held at Dist. Head Quarter of Biswanath, Charaideo, Hojai, Majuli and South Salmara Dist. on the date to be notified later on. The Driving Knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals will be of 100 marks

Phase-II : The candidates shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Test will have to appear along with all original testimonials in the Driving Skill Test to be held at Dist. Headquarter of Biswanath, Charaideo, Hojai, Majuli and South Salmara Dist on a date to be notified later on. The Driving Test will be of 100 marks.
