National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research , Guwahati ( NIPER-G ) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for various project based positions under DBT sponsored project titled “Establishment of GMP accredited Pilot Scale extraction facilities for development of phytopharmaceutical products from the Medicinal Plants of NE India.”
1. Name of post : Research Associate-II
No. of posts : 1
Salary : Rs.47,000/- +16% HRA
Essential Qualification :Ph.D in Microbiology or Equivalent or having 3 years of research, teaching experience after post-graduation in M.Sc. /M.Tech Microbiology with 55% marks and atleast one research publication in SCI indexed Journal. GPAT/GATE/CSIR-NET or any National entrance test exam conducted by any central Govt. department is essential for candidates with Master degree.
Desirable Qualification :Required to analyse microbiological load in the standardized extracts. Candidates having industrial experience for GLP testing is preferable.

GPAT/ GATE/CSIR-NET or any National entrance test exam conducted by any central Govt. department is essential for candidates with Master degree.
Desirable Qualification : Required to assist project scientist of natural product for preparation of standardized extracts well as reference compounds and development of Phytopharmaceuticals. Candidates having knowledge on WHO-GMP extraction will be preferable.

Salary : Rs.67,000/- +16% HRA
Essential Qualification :Ph.D with 3 years of experience and post-graduation in MSc/M.Pharm in Analytical Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis/Equivalent with 55% marks and at least three research publication in SCI indexed Journal.
Desirable Qualification : Required to handle analytical equipment’s and to perform stability studies. Candidates having industrial experience for GLP testing is preferable.

Essential Qualification :Ph.D with 3 years of experience and post-graduation in M.Sc./M.Tech/M.S in Chemical engineering/Biomedical engineering /Equivalent with 55% marks and at least three research publication
Desirable Qualification : Required to manage the total pilot scale extraction facility. Candidates having knowledge on WHO-GMP extraction will be preferable.

Desirable Qualification : Required to prepare reference compounds, standardized extracts and purification as well as characterizations of phytopharmaceuticals from the standardized extracts as well as to conduct stability studies for the standardized extracts.

Essential Qualification : Ph.D with 3 years of experience and post-graduation in M.Sc./M.Pharm Pharmacognosy/ Botany/Taxonomy Equivalent with 55% marks and at least three research publication.
Desirable Qualification : Required for collection, authentication and estimation of organoleptic properties of the plant materials.
