Assam CEE 2021 Notification – Combined Entrance Examination
Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is the entrance examination organised by Govt. of Assam for admission in to various B.Tech. programme in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2021 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).
Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released official notification for Combined Entrance Examination (CEE 2021) for Admission into B.Tech. programme For the Session 2020-21 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2021
To be eligible for admission to any of the colleges a candidate must fulfill the following criteria :
Resident-ship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English together.
Age Limit: The Candidate must not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age as on 1st August 2019.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed to 22 years in case of B.Sc. passed Candidates. Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral character.
Fitness: The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Assam CEE 2021 Syllabus
The CEE 2021 will be conducted as per the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
Paper shall be of three (3) hours duration and shall contain 120 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. Four (4) marks will be awarded for every right answer and one (1) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There shall be no marks, in case, the candidate selects more than one option in the answer sheet. CEE-2020 will be based on Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Syllabus .
The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution:
Mathematics 40 Questions
Physics 40 Questions
Chemistry 40 Questions
Medium of Assam CEE Entrance Test
The question paper contains questions both in “English” and “Assamese” language.
Assam CEE Application Fee 2021
Last year candidates had to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 750/- (Seven hundred and fifty only) through online, which facilitate payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents. Fee once paid, is not refundable.
Fee for Assam CEE 2021 will revealed only, once the official notification is out.
Assam CEE 2021 Admit Card
The ASTU authority will release the Assam CEE admit card 2021 on the official website. The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 15 days before the exam and up to the date of examination by entering his/her application form number/User name and Password generated during submission of online application.
How to apply for Assam CEE 2021
Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or appearing in 10+2 exam may apply online for appearing this entrance examination. Candidates must apply through online application form at astu.ac.in .
Applicants need not to send copy of Application Form or any Document to this office. However, candidates should take printout of the application form to be produced during counselling.

- Issue of admit cards online: 15 days before exam and up to the date of exam
- Date for CEE 2021 examination: 29th August 2021
