Assam Agricultural University has released a recruitment notification for the recruitment of 17 Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer, Deputy Registrar (Personnel), Deputy Comptroller, Deputy Librarian, Assistant Registrar/ Administrative Officer, Assistant Comptroller, Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer(Civil /Electrical). AAU Recruitment Details:
1.Name of post : Superintending Engineer
No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualification :
(1) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or AMIE(India) in Civil Engineering
(2) Minimum 12 years of service experience of which 5 years should be in the rank of Executive Engineer in design and supervision in Roads and buildings works
(3) Experience in Accounts.
Pay : Rs. 30,000 -110,000 + GP Rs. 16,900
2.Name of post : Executive Engineer

Essential Qualification :
(1) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or AIME (India) in Civil Engineering,
(2) 10 years experience of which at least 5 years experience in the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer in design, construction and supervision of roads and buildings, work estimates and maintenance of water supply system including installation of Deep Tube well.
Or
(1) Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of experience of which at least 5 years should be in the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer in design, construction and supervision of roads and buildings, work estimates and maintenance of water supply system including installation of Deep Tube well.

3.Name of post : Deputy Registrar (Personnel)

Essential Qualification :
a) Bachelor’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce of a recognized University.
b) At least 10 years experience dealing with administrative matters in the Govt. Offices or in the Educational Institutions of which at least 5 years in the rank of Assistant Registrar or its equivalent
c) Proficiency in establishment rules and regulations of the Universities or similar institution

4.Name of post : Deputy Comptroller

Essential Qualification :
a) Bachelor’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce of a recognized University.
b) At least 10 years experience dealing with accounts & audit in supervisory capacity in Govt. offices or Educational Institute of standing including at least 5 years experience in the rank of Accounts Officer or its equivalent rank.

5.Name of post : Deputy Librarian

Essential Qualification :
CPC : The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be (1) at least 2nd class Master degree in Library and Information Science of a recognized University with knowledge of computer application.
OR
At least 2nd class Master’s degree or equivalent CGPA in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Agriculture/ Veterinary Science/ Home Science with at least 2nd class Bachelor degree in Library Information Science from a recognized University.
UGC :
a. Bachelor degree in any field of study
b. Master’s degree in Library and information Science of a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B (Grade Point 3.50-4.49) in UGC seven point scale.
c. 5 years service experience as Assistant Librarian (senior scale, with AGP of Rs. 7000)/ Documentation Officer in a University Library or 15 years of professional experience in a University Library system.
d. Evidence of initiative and ability to plan, organize, administer in a library
e. A minimum score as stipulated in the ‘Academic Performance Indicator’ (API) Score Card Guideline prescribed for Direct Recruitment of Library Professional Staff in AAU to be called for interview.

6.Name of post : Assistant Registrar/ Administrative Officer

Essential Qualification :
a) Bachelor’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce of a recognized University.
b) Ten years experience out of which at least five years should be in administration in a responsible supervisory position not below the rank of A.S.O. or Equivalent in offices or Educational Institutions
c) Experience in dealing with Establishment, General Administration, Personnel and Financial matters.

7. Name of post : Assistant Comptroller

Essential Qualification :
a. Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science & Commerce of a recognized University.
b. Candidates must have passed one of the following examinations-
i. Subordinate Accounts service of Assam/ Assam Accounts service conducted by the Director, Accounts & Treasuries at Central Training Institute, Guwahati
ii. Assam Subordinate Local Audit Service
iii. Examination of equivalent grade to be recognized by the University
OR
He/She must have served for at least 10 years in the line of Audit/ Accounts out of which 5 years must be in a responsible post in the rank of Sr. Accountant/ Dy. Audit Officer/ Dy. Accounts Officer or Equivalent rank or still higher post in Govt/Semi Govt. or recognized Public Sector Undertakings.

8.Name of post : Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Essential Qualification : Three years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from Govt. recognized institution with 2-3 years Working experience
Pay : Rs. 22,000-87,000 + GP Rs. 9,700
