Gauhati High Court is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Chauffeur and Court Attendant in the Law Research Institute, Eastern Region. Interested and eligible candidates may apply.
1. Name of post : Chauffeur (Driver)

Scale of Pay : Rs. 14000-60500/- + Grade Pay Rs. 5200/-
Qualification :
1. Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board
2. Must possess a valid Driving License
Selection Procedure : Screening Test + Driving Test + Viva Voce
2. Name of post : Court Attendant (Peon)
No. of posts : 1
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000- 52000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 3900/-
Qualification : The candidate must have passed Class VIII and those who have passed HSSLC (Class XII) or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post. Candidates possessing special skills will be given preference on need basis.
Selection Procedure : Written Examination + Viva Voce
