Eligibility Criteria of Atmanirbhar Scheme
Residentship: Beneficiaries must be permanent residents of Assam.
Age Limit: The beneficiary’s age should fall within the range of 18 to 45 years.
Educational Qualification: To be eligible for this scheme, beneficiaries must have a minimum qualification of passing Class 10.
Skill Qualification: Beneficiaries should possess the necessary skills and knowledge, such as those acquired through ITI or Diploma programs, to engage in income-generating activities.
Loan Defaults: Beneficiaries must not have a history of loan defaults.
Government Service: Beneficiaries should not come from families with government service holders or pensioners.
Income: Only candidates falling under the BPL category are eligible.
Family: Only one member per family is eligible for this scheme.
Employment Exchange: Beneficiaries must have been registered with the Employment Exchange before 1st April 2023 to be eligible.
Beneficiary Coverage
The Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom initiative aims to target 2 lakh eligible beneficiaries over the next two years. The first phase will focus on assisting 1 lakh individuals during the fiscal year 2023-24, followed by another 1 lakh in the fiscal year 2024-25. This ambitious approach underscores the government’s commitment to tackling unemployment and fostering economic growth in Assam.

Candidates satisfying all the required eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official notification will be able to submit their online applications through the official web portal before the last date of application. Candidates have to apply in the prescribed form through online mode only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
